Due to the volume of inquiries we receive daily for all our amazing services, we will only reply to fully, completed forms and at our earliest opportunity. We thank you for your patience.
*We do not board puppies, or high energy dogs seeking and/or requiring socialization, heavy play, cats or herding/hunting breeds. We are primarily a senior only home or for mature, fully adaptable and well socialized dogs.
Our set up is unique as we only cater to very adult, mellow dogs and/or seniors hence our nickname the 'Dogmore for Seniors'. We offer a quiet, peaceful retreat where dogs are apart of our family in every way. Our clients love that we're picky and we are as this is our home, not a kennel or facility. Your pups will enjoy plenty of luv'n and spoil'n and we only accept a few furry campers at a time to create a peaceful and stress free environment.
All dogs must have exceptional house manners, be very well socialized, and easily adaptable in new environments. We cannot accept pups who have not stayed elsewhere before and will check references. All pups must have proof of current vaccinations and be spayed/neutered.
!! We cannot accept dogs who have any behaviors that fall into the spectrum of anxiety, fear, aggression, territorial, dominance, marking, excessive barking, digging, chewing, counter surfs, food/toy protective or domain protective. No exceptions.
To be considered as one of our campers we will need the following information: Your pup's breed, age, personality, behaviors, if on a special diets and/or medications (describe in detail), sleeping habits/ hours, and specifically where they sleep at your home: Crate, couch, your bed, their own bed, or any happy cool spot on the floor.
Upon passing a pre-screened call to learn more about your furry companion we then require an in person and advanced Meet n' Greet and/or required trial (boarding rates apply) before committing to care with us. We want to make sure each furry camper meets our specific criteria, is comfortable, easily adaptable to a new setting as well as a good match for our home and other furry campers.
A copy of their current vaccination records is required along with records of being spayed/neutered, and they must also be current on a monthly heart worm/flea/tick medication.
Our rates do not change based on the time needed for a camp check in as we hold spots to be available for your furry camper and offer tremendous flexibility for both drop off and pick up times.
We kindly require that all furry campers be bathed within 1 week prior to boarding or we will assess a bathing fee, courtesy of Wag'n Wash (trip charges/time will also apply). This helps to maintain good health for all of our furry campers, and our exceptionally clean home conditions.
As we block spots for Boarding we do not apply credit or refund for unused stays, early returns home, or late cancellations (please see our cancellation policies for details). Our rates do not change based on the time needed for a camp check in as we hold spots to be available for your furry camper and offer tremendous flexibility for both drop off and pick up times. Additional charges may apply for late pickup, accidents or any damages that occur after an initial payment has been made. Deposits are required 30-60 days prior for Holidays and all School Breaks (S as we will fill up fast and only take a few campers at a time. We maintain a low stress, calm environment, a very clean, non-smoking home, and only accept furry guests who fit into our specific criteria which keeps everyone happy and healthy.
Once we receive your completed forms, you're free to begin using your personal Client Portal.
Payment is due 7 business days before the first day of each service request. Weekly, biweekly, and monthly clients will be invoiced on a set schedule that we coordinate with you. Vacation, Holiday, and School Break reservations will be invoiced up to four weeks prior to your service start date. (Holidays and school break schedules, e.g. Spring Break (March) and Fall Break (October) are among the busiest times. Payment in full must be received to hold spots at least 4 weeks prior to your start date.)
**For new client setup a $35 rush fee applies for less than 14 days notice, and $50 for less than 5 days notice, before a start date. Short notice booking is also subject to availability.
We accept credit payments online through a secure link at www.4pawzsake.com or the Client Portal. We also offer payment options through Stripe, Zelle and Chase Direct. (*Please note, a processing fee is applied for all credit/debit cards.)
*Online payments must be received prior to the start of services. (Online payments incur a service charge via Stripe/ACH and added to the total of each service request.)
We also accept Zelle/Chase Direct which do not have added service fees.
**Late payments will incur a late fee of $35.
An added rate is applied on the below listed holidays:
$10 per visit/ $10 per day per dog for Boarding/Overnight Sitting. Once payment is received your spot is confirmed.
School Breaks: We're just as busy if not more so over school breaks! So plan ahead and schedule as early as you can because our spots fill up fast! Spring (Mid March) and Fall Break (Mid October) do not have an added rate but do fall under the same booking and cancellation policies as our listed Holidays due to our limited spots for care and higher demand/peak time of the year. (We do not credit/refund cancellations 0-30 days prior to our start as we've blocked care to be available for your furry family which prevents us from caring for others.) We follow DCSD's school calendar for Spring/Fall Breaks.
To hold and reserve pet care service spots over our ‘School Breaks and Holidays’ advance payment in full is due at minimum 30 days prior to the start of all of our services. (Visits/Boarding/Overnights included.)
*Requests received less than 30 days’ notice to a start date involving School Breaks/Holiday periods have a $35 short notice fee, and $50 for less than 14 days notice, to rush admin setup and adjust schedules. Short notice booking is also subject to availability.
Our Holidays cover nationally recognized days as well as Hallmark or 'family' days we spend away from our families to care for our pet families. An added Holiday rate applies to the following days: New Year's Eve Day/New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day/Christmas Day. ($10 per visit/ $10 per dog for our in-home boarding/ $10 per Overnight Slumber Pawty Stay.)
Our time is blocked to provide love and care to your furry ones, restricting our ability to book time to care for others, so we do not refund or credit for same day cancellations, short notice (less than 3 business day's notice), unused visits, Spring (March)/Fall (October) Breaks/listed Holidays/Peak time weeks and weekends, or early returns as we have allocated our time to care for your pet family. This includes early returns if your pet is boarding with us. Should a cancellation take place we appreciate a notification prior to our arrival.
Cancellations: Same day, next day, early returns, 0-7 days prior during non peak and 0-30 days prior to peak/holidays are billable in full for the entirety of the requested services. We do not offer credit/refunds as we've blocked our time to care for your pet family, and have declined other requests for care.
*Approved credit balances expire one year from original request.
Subject to the same schedule as above as visits are still scheduled and made on bad weather days. We do maintain the right to modify the visit, such as shortened outdoor time or shifting to indoor play for the safety of your pet and our team.
Advanced notification is required of all persons who may be entering or staying at your home prior to the start of services, including any work contractors or any person/s enlisted for 'shared care of your pets'; and/or we may also decline care should others outside of our team be enlisted or hired to care for your pet/s. Should we arrive to find unknown cars or person/s at your home we will decline entering until we get client confirmation of any questionable or concerning activity.
