My passion for animals - I was born and raised in Dallas, and an alum of UT Austin (Hook 'em). I have a BS in Communications, and after college moved to Los Angeles. Yet animals, no matter where I lived, have always been a part of my life. I always had an instinct as a child for nurturing and caring for animals, bringing home strays, birds or whoever needed care and my parents let me! As I got older I was always asked to help care for pets when friends or family traveled. Now within my close circle which includes clients I'm often known as 'Cesar Jr. or the petite pet whisperer' and I'm honored by that comparison!
In Dallas I spent time volunteering as an education docent at The SPCA of Texas, and in Denver volunteer with RROC (Retriever Rescue of Colorado) while working in the corporate world of marketing/advertising. We became foster dog parents and just had to adopt Jessie (pic - Left) at 7 years young who instantly stole our hearts. We gave this pawfect golden a desperately needed hip replacement so she could live every day to her fullest and that she did! We were so fortunate to have had her until the amazing age of 15. (She passed away due to cancer which is so prevalent nowadays). She knew she was the heart of our home and the center of our family. We experienced first hand having her home alone all day as we worked full time. We felt terrible and stressed about leaving her without company or a walk. I've always had too much entrepreneur in me so I left the corporate world, put my passion into motion, and started 4 Pawz Sake! It's a proven successful business winning Best of the Best for 14 years! This is not a 'hobby'. We are a dedicated team of experienced professionals who provide the utmost compassion and stellar pet care to each and every one of our pet families. We love what we do and your pets will feel it too!
Forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all the families she cared for over 15 years.
We sadly and tragically lost Michelle last year to lung cancer. As an homage to her friendship, passion in pet care from the day I started my business in 2008 we pay tribute to you.

I’ve always loved animals and can't recall a time I've never had pets in my life. I've been working on the team since it's debut in '08 and find this to be my pawfect 'pet fix' to play and care for everyone's pets! My experience ranges from dogs and cats of every size and breed imaginable to ferrets, bunnies, birds, aquatics and our lil' critter friends.
One added bonus is having known Tammy and her family for 16+ years and when I'm not caring for your fur babies or teaching you'll find me playing in the Highlands Ranch's Community Band! I’m a proud mom of 3 fab-o adult children and a wife of over 20 years! My family and I have been very active in the Highlands Ranch community for over 17 years. I've enjoyed my leadership roles as a Girl Scout troop leader, PTA President and currently work as a part time substitute teacher for special needs children in Douglas County Preschools.
I began my professional pet sitting career 16+ years ago in Northglenn and have been caring for pets on Tammy's team for 7 furbulous years! I have tremendous experience and passion caring for all domestic pets from dogs, cats including Savannah's and Devon Rex's to tabby's and even feral, to birds, fish, bunnies and amazing bearded dragons! When my family moved to Highlands Ranch I couldn't imagine not spending my days with furry friends so I joined 4 Pawz Sake! When not caring for your pet family you'll find me spending time with mine, Jadmir, my sweet and oh so magnificent Husky!
I've been an animal lover since the time I was born and am still a country gal at heart! I grew up with horses, dogs, ducks, a guinea pig, parakeets and rabbits. I was always rescuing birds, bunnies and various kinds of wildlife. Often as a teen, I was asked to care for neighbor's pets while they were away. I moved to Colorado in 1982 and have no desire to leave this beautiful state! In 2002-2008 I founded Wild@Heart Ranch, LLC in Parker, CO, an equine assisted therapy business specializing in work with at-risk youth.
In November 2016, I became a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College and volunteered at Freedom Service Dogs. I no longer own horses, but am on the Advisory Board for 8th Mountain Ranch in Castle Rock, CO.
My husband and I married in 2015. We each lost a spouse to cancer, and between us we have five grown children, two cats and one tiny 95 pound black lab 'grand dog'. I enjoy being part of Tammy's team in caring for client's beloved pets in the comfort of their homes as well as walking dogs in the beautiful Colorado outdoors! (Rhonda offers overnight care.)
Pets have been a part of our family for as long as I can remember as I lived on a farm in Indiana and we had everything from dogs, cats, fish, Guinea pigs, sheep, and horses. I'm a retired elementary teacher of 18 years and and after moving from Indiana to Colorado I was ready for a career change.
Tammy and I met when she cared for our pups Pierre a very spoiled Shih tzu and now Yankee, our amazing golden doodle. I adopted Yankee from a rescue and trained him since puppyhood to be become a therapy dog. In my spare time we visit elementary schools and we both love it and the positive impact is has on children! I can't imagine not being around pets of all kinds and so enjoy caring for all the fur babies I meet each and every day! (Lee Ann offers overnight care.)
I was raised in the mountains and love outdoor life. Animals and pets of all kinds have always been a part of my life including horses, bunnies, ferrets, dogs, cats and even a hedgehog named Ralph!
My life long experience and compassion in caring for pets makes working as a professional pet sitter a pawfect match! So watch out because your pet family will get extra spoli'n and luv'n while you're away.
I currently have a 11 year old Maltese/Bichon who's the boss and center of our home and in my spare time I enjoy cross-stitching and crocheting.
(Brenda offer overnight care.)

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be very painful.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. Place your trust in me - it is crucial for my well being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment. I only have you!
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I understand your voice when it's speaking to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I'll never forget it!
7. Remember, I have teeth that could easily crush the bones in your hand and I choose not to bite you even if you choose to strike me.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I've been out in the sun too long, or my heart may be getting old and weak.
9. Take care of me when I get old. You too will grow old.
10. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, "I can't bear to watch it" or "Let it happen in my absence." Everything is easier for me if you are there. Remember, I love you!
